But how does this work? How can you persuade people to follow you? This is the big challenge you have to deal with in the very first beginning of your intention.

In my opinion, one critical success factor is to be “sticky” or influential…you need to have the gift to convince and impress people…As long as you speak out to them in their language there is a good chance for being successful.

But what is a influential or a sticky person? I guess it is a person who has the talent to talk to people and who knows how to impose people with his/her appearance. Further, this guy is a faithful person and has the gift to attract the crowd. Imagine the in-club in your hometown…everybody wants to go there because of the owner…the owner has a remarkable appearance that is critical for his/her success. He has become a brand and people who became friends with him/her initially were fascinated and talked about the club to other friends…That’s how it works!!!

This is not only true for individuals but also for companies…they need to find the way how to be sticky…This will change and improve the marketing awareness significantly!

And above all, I really enjoy eating delicious dishes in very lovely places and listen to great music. For this reason I would like to introduce a very simple dish today, that I ate in Nashville. The restaurant was called The Old Spagetthi Factory in Nashville!

We took a lot of pictures when we ate there almost 8 months ago, but unfortunately I can’t find them!

Anyway, my dish was Tagliatelle with salmon  cream sauce.

Here is the preparation:

Fettuccine al Salmone

You need a thick piece of smoked salmon for this recipe, not thin slices.

Ingredients

• 350g/12oz fresh pasta dough No.4
• 250ml/9 fl oz double cream
• 1 small fresh chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
• a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
• some grated lemon zest
• ½ tsp salt, freshly ground black pepper
• 400g/14oz piece of smoked salmon, skinned
• 50g/1¾oz butter, cut into small pieces
• 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh lemon balm

Method

Using a knife or pasta machine, cut fettuccine from the pasta dough, or used dried fettuccine. Put the cream, chilli, nutmeg, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a large saucepan and boil gently to reduce the liquid by one-third (about 10 minutes). In the meantime, cut the salmon into 1cm/⅜in cubes. Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water until al dente. Add the butter, piece by piece, to the cream sauce and stir in well. Remove the pan from the heat and add the cubed salmon. Drain the pasta and mix thoroughly with the sauce. Spoon on to pre-warmed plates and garnish with finely chopped lemon balm.

Berlin is the capital of Germany and with its population of 3,4 million, it is also most populous city in Germany. During the NAZI time,  Berlin was already the captial but after WW II it had been seperated into two pieces. West-Berlin became a part of West-Germany and East-Berlin had been incorporated into the German Democratic Republic. Thus, after 1945 Berlin was no longer the capital of Germany and Bonn became the new home of the German gouvernment. Fortunately, in 1990 East Germany (the Russians, respectively) took of the Wall of Berlin, thus, East and West became one again. This was the end of seperation and the beginning of Germany’s old but new capital BERLIN.

Today I am going to write about Istanbul. I am a big Istanbul fan and for me there is no other city in this world with such a diversity. People are hospitable, music is spectacular; there are tons of monuments and places to see! And we shouldn’t forget the delicious turkish food.

Here are some impressions of my Istanbul!

Dolmabahce Saray|Palace

It’s an incredible Palace which had been inhabited by the Sultans of the former Ottoman Empire. After the proclomation of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Pasa (Atatürk) lived there until his death.

Taksim - Istiklal Caddesi during the winter period

This is the Istiklal Street, the most famous and frequent place in Istanbul. With its length of about 3 km it connects the Taksim Place with the Tünel! A lot of traditional cafés, restaurants are located here, as well as stores where you can buy clothes, accessories and of course turkish music. At night, you will be able to party there in diverse clubs and bars.

Hagia Sophia

This is the Hagia Sophia Museum which was a Church and had been transformed to a mosque by the Ottomans. Now it is a museum and is wonderfully restaurated.

Sultanahmet Mosque

The Sultanahmet Mosque is face to face with Hagia Sophia; so you can reach the mosque within a few minutes!

Topkapi Palace

I won’t say anything to this picture! I think the picture is enough.

And now my favorit district in Istanbul: Nisantasi! It is one of the most expenses places in Istanbul but it has also the most european flair. I love it! Besides the the stores like Dolce and Gabana, Gucci etc. which are really only for richt people (it is really not affordable), Nisantasi has a lot of restaurants that are affordable and delicious…My special restaurant is Sushi&Co in Nisantasi (Teşvikiye Cad. No:133-A) but I know that Sushi is not everybody’s favorit. So just go to Nisantasi find out what is expecting you!

Last but not least, I want to recommend the so called “La rue Francaise” which is accessible from the Taksim Place! Lot of great French wine and food and again: a special like everywhere in Istanbul!

There is much more I could tell you about Istanbul! But I think then this posint won’t finish in this life! So just be spontaneous and take a guidebook with you.

Here are some impressions from Cologne|Köln:

This is the Cathedral in Cologne. Construction of Cologne Cathedral began in 1248 and took, with interruptions, until 1880 to complete – a period of over 600 years.

A incredible festival in Cologne: Cologne’s Carneval which is all in a tumble. Try to visit Cologne during the Carneval Season!

This is Cologne’s most famous beer! It is called “Kölsch” and is exclusively brewed in Cologne. Honestly, it’s okay but Kölsch is not able to keep up with Bavarian beer!

Cologne is a party city!

Be prepared for a special party culture! Cologne is the place to be for parties and clubbing!
